Castle Combe Circuit
All these events raise funds for various charities and worthy organisations, including Bude Surf Veterans (a group of local surfers teaching ex-Service personnel with PTSD to surf).
There are no expenses apart from the hire of the circuit and its personnel.
Castle Combe management makes fundraising possible by giving us a generous discount and about £3000 is raised each time. Llandow management also helps and about £2000 is raised.
I send the accounts to all drivers and those who contributed (if I have their email).
Two club members – Tony Muse and Steve Paice – regularly help me to run the Castle Combe days, for which I am most grateful.
Anyone who wishes to join us is welcome.
Entry and spectating is free, passenger rides can be taken (loan helmets are available) and cars can be taken on the afternoon convoy run (a lap or two of the circuit behind the course car at moderate speed with no overtaking). Paper money donations are much appreciated.
It is best to let me know beforehand.
For customer feedback, talk to Messrs Muse or Paice.
If anyone wishes to take part, please let me know; we were all beginners once.
